2010 marks the 9th year for McHappy™ at McDonald’s®, an annual global fundraiser for children.

Funds raised benefit Ronald® McDonald House  Charities® (RMHC®) and  local children’s causes in  communities around the  world. Since the program’s  inception in 2002, McHappy Day® efforts have raised millions across North Carolina and parts of South Carolina and over $100 million worldwide.

McDonald’s constantly strives to improve on its rich tradition as a good community partner and neighbor. As the needs of the world’s children have increased over time, so has the need for companies and citizens to play a more active role in effecting positive change.
