Guess who's coming to dinner...

Every fall, a crowd of hungry kids and their parents fill the McDonald's restaurants for McTeacher's Night, an annual fundraiser for local schools. Teachers and administrators tie on McDonald's aprons to "work" that evening, greeting guests, taking orders and serving food. And because a percentage of proceeds from the evening's sales go directly to the school, students are sure to show up to hear their favorite teachers say "Do you want fries with that?"

Did you know?

- Donations of more than $80,000 to local schools across the Raleigh Region

- More than 200 schools in our local communities were partners, and more than 100,500 children and 4,000 teachers were reached

- More than 78% McDonald owner/operator participation across all participating markets

- Between 3,000 and 5,000 crew members helped make the operations of McTeacher's Night a smooth success
