A strong mind. A strong body. And a safe, supportive place to grow. These are things every child needs – and deserves – to have. Helping to provide these things is what Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina is all about.

Founded in 1992, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of North Carolina (RMHC of NC) is deeply committed to creating, finding and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children across the state. A community effort, RMHC of NC's funding comes from McDonald's restaurant owner donations, McDonald's customer donations to in-store canisters and fund-raisers from the corporate and civic communities as well as matching funds from RMHC Global. These funds are separate from the much-needed donations that individual donors designate for the Ronald McDonald Houses.

North Carolina is proud to have five of the nearly 250 Ronald McDonald Houses worldwide. Located in Charlotte, Chapel Hill, Durham, Greenville, and Winston-Salem, the Houses provide comfort and care to families of seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
